Dr. Kathy Ferguson DVM , DVM

Dr Kathy Ferguson has been an Associate Veterinarian at Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital since 1998 after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. Currently she works part time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Her veterinary interests include dentistry and feline medicine.

The majority of her time is spent with her husband, 2 sons and two cats. Her hobbies include gardening, going to the beach. She is also an active member of her church.

Dr. Kevin Sullivan DVM

Dr Kevin Sullivan has been an Associate Veterinarian here at Bayleaf since 2001 after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. His veterinary interests include surgery especially orthopedics, exotics (like hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats), and handles most of the chemotherapy cases here at Bayleaf.

Dr Sullivan outside of work enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. He enjoys playing and coaching basketball with his children. He has one cat and two dogs.

Dr. April Kolstad DVM

Dr April Kolstad has been an Associate Veterinarian since 2004 after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. Her veterinary interests include behavior, dermatology, and senior wellness. She is currently an instructor for Bayleaf's Puppy Socialization Class.

Dr Kolstad's outside interests include running, swimming, working out, reading, and going to the beach. She currently has 3 cats, 1 dog and 1 husband.

Lydia Fraze

Technician

Kim , Certified Veterinary Technician

Kim has been a Certified Veterinary Technician here at Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital since 1999 after graduating from SUNY Delhi College of Technology in Delhi, NY in 1995. Her interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, senior wellness, feline medicine and behavioral issues. She is currently pursuing her accreditation in Veterinary dentistry and is a Canine Good Citizen's evaulator.

In her free time Kim spends the majority of it with her son, five cats and 1 crazy Beagle. Her outside interests include Nascar, sports, stamping, and cooking and baking like a "MINI MARTHA STEWART".

Dana

Dana has been a technician here at Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital since 2000. As with all of our technicians her interests are varied from assisting the veterinarians in examination rooms to dentistry.

Dana has a daughter who is 17 months old. She has four cats and two dogs and one husband. She is now the current teacher of our puppy class. Outside of Bayleaf Dana enjoys going to country music concerts, scrapbooking, stamping, and traveling.

Brooke

Brooke has been a technician at Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital since 2001 after working as a kennel assistant since 1999. Brooke enjoys interacting with the animals especially the little dogs. She has been instrumental in the open house that we had this past fall.

Brooke enjoys her two puppies, Bailey and Buddy. She is currently pursuing a business degree and operates her own internet business.

Ashley

Ashley has been here at Bayleaf working as a veterinary technician since May 2003 and was previously in the kennel. Her interests include dentistry and assisting in the examination rooms.

Outside of work Ashley likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. She enjoys camping, boating, swimming, and hiking. She has 1 sweet Doberman and 1 crazy chocolate Lab.

Katie

Katie has been a technician here at Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital since August 2005. She is currently taking an online veterinary technician program through Purdue University. Her interests include puppy and kitten socialization, assisting in surgery, and continuing education.

Outside of Bayleaf, Katie likes riding horses, four wheeling, cooking, running and studying. She currently has 1 dog and 1 horse.

Lisa

Lisa has been working at Bayleaf since November of 2007. She has been in the veterinary field for 5 years. She took a year off from the animal world to pursue a career as an esthetician, but after receiving her licence she realized that she missed working with animals.

She enjoys spending time with her daughter and loves German Shepherds.

Teresa

Teresa is a receptionist here at Bayleaf and has been working here since August of 2007.

She is currently engaged to her boyfriend of 1 and a half years. She enjoys road trips and likes to attend NC State Basketball and Football games. She also has a beagle named Hurli.
Holly

Holly has been working at Bayleaf since 2007. She has a cat named Junior whom she adopted from Bayleaf when he was a kitten. She has two nephews who she loves spending time with. Outside of work she enjoys watching NASCAR and football (Go Bears!!), as well as cross stitching.

Suzanne

Suzanne has been working as a kennel technician since June 2004. In her spare time Suzanne breeds Lhasa's and likes to groom dogs as well as dog sit and walk dogs.

She is a huge Duke Fan and likes to attend the Duke football and basketball games.

Jack

Jack has been work at Bayleaf since late 2007 and works full time in the boarding kennel. He is currently going to school to pursue a career in automotive technologies. He enjoys spending time with his cat and also enjoys long road trips.
